Bridie:
My trip went very well thanks to you. The Iveagh Garden Hotel is beautiful. You have to try to stay there when you are in Dublin. I had a wonderful time in and around Dublin seeing friends and also going to events at the Dublin International Writers Festival. I went to a session with the well known Jennifer Johnson speaking about her writing at the Writers Center on Parnell Square. Everything went very well.
Thank you for always being there.
I will probably being going back to Dublin in the next five months. I will call you when I know my dates.

How were your accommodations? Great. The Imperial Hotel Cork had great food and staff was very nice all around. We loved staying in Killarney at the Fairview Guesthouse, walking distance to so many Pubs and Restaurants. The Knockranny House Hotel in Westport was beautiful and of course the Dromoland Castle is awesome!
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation? Yes. From our start in Boston, Aer Lingus is a good Airline. We had the best driver in Ireland, Des Murphy, he knew exactly where to take us for the best pictures, Pubs, food and activities!
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy? Golf at Old Head Golf Links in Kinsale and Tralee Golf Club, both had amazing ocean views! My son and I also enjoyed Skeet shooting and Ireland’s School of Falconry at Ashford Castle.
What was your favorite part of the trip? For me it was so special to finally visit Ireland, where three of my grandparents were born! Mark, my son, felt the same. We had a fantastic time!
Would you travel with us again? Yes. Except for some rough weather(that you have no control over) everything was great!

How were your accommodations? Great. All B&Bs met our expectations. Bayside Mary volunteered to drive us to town for dinner. At Imeall Na Mara B&B Phil and Paul were very friendly, great view of the bay and excellent facility. At Atlantic Sunset very Bee was friendly and interesting dining room. Nolan’s B&B was not overly friendly. Park House Hotel was outstanding and the Porter staff were extremely helpful.
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation? Yes. Air flights were on time and no problems. When we checked in at Hertz, they were not familiar with the term LEP for the super CDW, they eventually accepted LEP.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy? Cliff of Killkee, Slieve League cliffs, Downpatrick Head, Achill Island, Knockma Forest Walk, the town of BallyDavid and the short walk that at the edge of the bay. The Irish people were very friendly, and the scenery was very beautiful and interesting, even on overcast weather.
What was your favorite part of the trip? The Irish people, the scenery, even the food was much better than expected. We were able to return the rental car with both mirrors attached to the car.
Would you travel with us again? Yes. Thanks for setting up the B&Bs, air travel and rental car. The luxury of the Park Hotel was a welcome change from the B&Bs.
