Nancy was one of ten who came to Crystal Travel, looking for help with a group getaway. The large group, self-described as a lively bunch of 60-somethings, had one goal in mind: to have fun. They were all about good times, hitting the pubs, shopping, taking in beautiful scenery, and enjoying nice, easy walks. Museums weren’t a top priority, though they figured one or two would be just fine. During the chat, they mentioned a few must-sees, like Waterford Crystal, Sligo (if it could fit), and maybe even a stay in a castle, as long as it didn’t break the budget. Bridie quickly got to work, crafting an itinerary that ticked every box for each individual. Bridie also helped Nancy and her partner extend their trip, bidding farewell to the rest of the group and heading to Germany for a few nights!

Great – The castle was our favorite! Beautiful rooms and wonderful service! Cork, The Jazz festival was so crazy. We could not even get a drink at our hotel and we did not have dinner reservations so we did not eat dinner until 8:30!!
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?
Yes –
Our driver, Pat Griffin!!! He was fantastic, kind professional, funny, very knowledgeable and a patient and great driver!! The car was roomy and comfortable!! When we arrived in Hamburg, our Rent-A-Car was not there and we had to wait almost 2 hours! We had four flights and all of them were fantastic!
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?
Loved them all!!!
What was your favorite part of the trip?
Seeing our friends in Germany. Ireland was awesome too! We loved every part of it!
Would you travel with us again?
Yes!
How can we improve for next time?
Knowing that there was a festival in a town, we should’ve made reservations for dinner and also maybe not stay there when it was so crowded in our hotel.
