Ann Marie | England & Ireland | October, 2024

Ann Marie and her group called in to the Boston office, excited about an upcoming journey to England and Ireland. They talked through plans to spend a few nights in London before heading over to Ireland. The women decided to start with three nights in England’s capital, fully immersing themselves in all the city had to offer. Afterwards, a private driver would guide them through Ireland’s scenic and historical highlights. With afternoons spent enjoying tea in castles and visiting iconic landmarks, the group made the most of their adventure, which you can read about below!

Name

Ann-Marie

How would you rate your trip?

Who was your travel expert?

Bridie

How were your accommodations?

Great – Fairview Killarney and Greenmount House Dingle were best. Great location, accommodations, and staff.
Westport Plaza – Nice, however staff sometimes came off a bit rude.
Leonardo Tower Bridge – Nice, but would have preferred location closer to Westminster/Picadilly area because we spent most of our time there.

Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?

Yes – Liam, our driver, in Ireland was excellent. Very informative, fun and accommodating. The car was roomy and nice.

What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?

Glen Keen Farm – sheep herding. Ross Castle, Gap of Dunloe – boat; jaunting cart.

What was your favorite part of the trip?

Ireland – West Cork, Dingle, Killarney. In general having a local driver made all the difference in the experience; we never had to think about where would be good to eat – he made reservations, suggested good pubs/music – spot on!

Would you travel with us again?

Yes!

How can we improve for next time?

Maybe send final itinerary to all in the group- I believe it only went to Mary Ann who organized the trip.

Any other questions or comments?

It was the trip of a lifetime 🙂
