Dennis and his wife Sarah, returning clients of Crystal Travel, reached out again when planning their next vacation – this time to Iceland. Knowing the high level of service they could expect, they trusted Ann to handle their vacation. The itinerary Ann curated for the pair took them across the entire island, with stays in various locations throughout Iceland. Along the way, the couple experienced some amazing activities and excursions, like horse riding on the black sand beaches! After ten exciting days, they shared their thoughts of the trip.

How were your accommodations?
Great – The Centrum Hotel was centrally located and easy to sightsee from there. The FossHotels were very nice in different cities. The least favorite was the Hotel Katla.
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?
Yes – We were able to connect with our driver easily at the airport…she was very friendly.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?
We really enjoyed the Food Walk in Reykjavik! Our guide Thor was amazing during the tour explaining much about Icelandic history. The horseback ride in Vik was a fun experience on the Black Beach. The day tour in Akureyri was enlightening with opportunities for many magnificent photos.
What was your favorite part of the trip?
Our favorite a part of the trip was driving each day from city to city and being able to stop and take in the sights at our leisure. The landscapes were so different and amazing. We drove over 1500 miles!

How can we improve for next time?
Nothing, Ann setup an amazing itinerary for Iceland and also did so for our Ireland trip a few years ago! We recommend Crystal Travel to all of our friends, family and neighbors….
