You don’t have to plan your trip to Ireland around golf, but you can certainly include it! Imagine a memorable journey with family or friends, where you can sneak in a round or two of golf in the mornings. Afterward, you can reunite with your group for the afternoon’s adventures. Choose between hiring a private driver or renting a car for added flexibility.
Maybe golf is more of a hobby than a lifestyle for you. Maybe a sneaky 18 holes on a beautiful links course beats a week of championship courses for you. If so, our “Tee and See” range of tours might work for you and your travel group.
With lots of flexibility for those who do want to enjoy a round or two of golf, while also keeping the rest of the party entertained, they strike a perfect balance for those just looking to cross “play a round of golf in Ireland” off their bucket list.
Arrive in Dublin today where your chauffeur will pick you up. Enjoy a quick tour of the city and some breakfast before making your way to your castle hotel.
Leave your castle hotel this morning and continue through the beautiful Lakelands of Fermanagh and on to the jaw-dropping scenery of Donegal. Enjoy a tour of Glenveagh National Park and Castle. End your travel day with a tour and tasting at a local whiskey distillery just a few miles away from your hotel. Continue on to your hotel on the North West coast of Donegal.
This morning, the golfers and non-golfers will split up. The golfers will be dropped at Dunfanaghy Golf Club where they will enjoy a leisurely 18 holes, while the rest of the group with spend the morning touring the epic Donegal coastline with a little extra room in the vehicle. Enjoy some of the more remote areas you are likely to visit with glorious sandy beaches and Fanad Head Lighthouse to keep you entertained.
Depending on the level of play of your golfers, you may have time to take the ferry to Buncrana and see some of the Inishowen Peninsula before stopping in Letterkenny for lunch. Pick up the golfers in the afternoon and, maybe, enjoy a drink together in Dunfanaghy before you return to your hotel.
The whole group is back touring today and will spend the day in yet another hidden corner of Donegal. It is difficult to hid the sea cliffs at Slieve League, which stand an enormous 1,972 feet above sea leave, making them almost 3-times the height of the world famous Cliffs of Moher.
There is much to take in with the sheer size and beauty of these cliffs. Nestled even deeper into this remote corner of Donegal is a sheep farm where you will stop and see a sheepdog demonstration and enjoy more breathtaking scenery. There are towers, forts, megalithic cemeteries, and a folk village out here too, as well as a stunning beach backed by more cliffs.
You will have a lifetime of scenery after your three days in Donegal but the tour isn’t close to over yet.
Linger a while at your beautiful hotel this morning before loading up the vehicle and making your way to your next destination. Stop in Donegal town for a comfort stop and a little ramble before you continue on down the coast to Enniscrone, your home for the next 3 nights.
Enniscrone is one of those Irish coastal towns that often gets overlooked but ticks all the boxes. A beautiful beach, some great restaurants and coffee shops, and an excellent base to explore the Sligo and North Mayo. Enjoy an afternoon out of the car and explore this little town on foot. Enniscrone is famous it’s seaweed baths which are both relaxing and therapeutic so some of the group might like to have this included this evening or tomorrow.
This morning, the golfers will enjoy their second round of golf of the trip right in Enniscrone town, yet still on the stunning Sligo coast. The rest of the group will be heading North about an hour and enjoying some of the scenery they missed yesterday. Mullaghmore Head is a gorgeous little drive and includes Classiebawn Castle, which is beautiful to photograph from almost any angle.
Further down the coast, the group might like to arrange to do some seaweed foraging on a beach or take a short cliff walk to stretch the legs. Lunch will be at Strandhill, followed by ice-cream at a local favorite shop. You’re also very close to Queen Maeve’s Cairn or Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery. Meet up with the golfers later in the afternoon to hear how their round went and enjoy a chill evening.
Today will be all about Achill Island and the town of Westport. On Achill Island, visitors can hike the rugged trails of Slievemore Mountain, explore historic ruins like the Deserted Village, and soak in the breathtaking scenery along the Atlantic Drive for an unforgettable island adventure. If there are any Banshees of Inisherin fans in the group, much of the movie was filmed here and there are some great locations to visit.
Depending on how much time you spend touring, you might like to head to Westport for a late lunch and enjoy a little shopping before you return to Enniscrone.

You’re less that 90 minutes from the airport today so sit back and let your driver handle everything.
We are more than happy to include a flight quote separately to your package so that you can decide if you would like to book with us or on your own. While booking flights can seem straight-forward, there are often hidden fees or classes of service that do not include seat assignments, meals or checked bags. We have been booking flights since 1985 and know the best routings and have great contracts that mean we often have better prices than what you will see online.
In Ireland, we generally try to book hotels that are at a 4 star level or higher. In some situations, we will book some 3 star or B&B properties but we do require them to be at a certain standard. We try to ensure a member of the team have stayed at each property in recent years or that we have done a site inspection.
Your first vacation quote, and up to two revisions, for trips of 9 or fewer days, and 45 days in advance of travel, are complimentary. If an itinerary requires further revisions subsequent to this, we will require a non-refundable deposit of $75 per person in order to continue.
If you are requesting a quote for a vacation that is 10 days in length, or with travel dates within 45 days, or to a non-core destination, a deposit of $75 per person will be required in order for us to begin working on your proposal.
Planning deposits can then be put towards the cost of the trip should you decide to proceed with the booking.
