What did you love?
We particularly loved Brook Lane Hotel in Kenmare. Food was equally as nice as the modern accommodations. A very nice breakfast- especially the scones! Benners Hotel in Dingle was in a great location. Some of us were in a section that had very nice, large rooms others were in a section that did not have an elevator to their rooms. The staff was helpful, however. Least favorite was the Hardiman in Galway. Great location, but typical city hotels. The rooms were tight.
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?
Yes. We had a great pickup from the airport. We have been thrilled with your recommendation of a driver for our group. The vehicle was top notch- comfortable, spacious, and had WiFi! Our driver, John Harrington, was fantastic. He focused our time on sights we shouldn’t miss, and added in memorable events ( boat ride, border collie herding sheep, horse and cart ride up mountain). He didn’t put us on a stressful schedule.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?
We loved Newgrange. Was amazing site. The drive of Healy Pass? Was amazing. The day was beautiful and sites astounding. Without a driver, we never would have seen it Slea Head was beautiful and the sheep herding was memorable.
What was your favorite part of the trip?
Our favorite part was seeing the beautiful countryside of Ireland. It exceeded what I pictured. And, the people were so friendly. Having a common language was helpful. The pubs were a great way to cap off the day- we heard some great music at The Dingle Pub!
Would you travel with us again?
Yes! Bridie and Crystal Travel planned a great trip. There is not a thing I would change.
