Great. Our favorite was Pax House in Dingle. First class hospitality offered by John and Michelle. Room spectacular, even though they are not responsible for the cloudless views, they did make a room so comfortable that it was a delight to spend an afternoon reading and enjoying the view. And breakfast was amazing. A true treat overall. Aran View was very nice and a great place to start. Room was comfortable with a great view out to the Aran Islands. Very nice breakfast and service. Trident Hotel is in a great location, in Kinsale. Room was very nice, with a good view of the harbor right out front. Breakfast was good as was service. Dunsraven in Adare was very nice. No view to speak of, except an interior yard, but the room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good, similar to Trident. Front desk service was excellent.
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?
Yes. Flight was easy out of Logan and into Shannon. The rental car was a small, but an easy car to run in Ireland. One tank of gas brought us all over the four counties (Clare, Kerry, Cork and Limerick). The ferry out of Doolin for Inishmor was great. the car ferry across the Shannon was a good choice for travel. Both easy. Thank you for arranging ahead of time.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?
The Cliffs of Mohr were great, but we were also encouraged to see the cliffs at Killkee, which were terrific and no crowds at all. The e-bike rental on Inishmor made the experience that much nicer. We got all over quickly and easily. We did the Slea Head loop in Dingle, stopping at the Blasket Island Center, which we strongly recommend. Very interesting and engaging exhibit. We also chartered a half day of sailing out of Kinsale with Soviergn Sailing. Excellent time, espeically for experienced sailors.
What was your favorite part of the trip?
Biking on Aran Islands in the sun was amazing! If the weather was different, we might have a different answer.
