Joni began planning her trip to Ireland in April of 2020 when she says, “all you could do was write your bucket list.” After over two years of planning and coordinating with Ann O’Brien, Joni, and Co took their trip with Crystal Travel and Tours in September 2022. After having the time of their lives, Joni has announced that Scotland is next on their list.

| What did you love? | All the accommodations were top notch. Nice people, fast check ins, nice and clean rooms. Ashford Castle was above and beyond anyone’s expectations. It was a true fairytale for 24 hours. |
| Did everything go smoothly with your transportation? | Yes |
| What did you love? | Dingle!!!! If I could change anything about our trip it would have been to spend more time in Dingle and the smaller towns, and less time in the cities. But that’s just my personal preference. |
| What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy? | Our driver Danny!! he took us from Dublin to Kilkenny, Kinsale, Dingle, Galway, Ashford Castle, and back to Dublin in 8 days. He taught us songs, gave us extended history lessons and great advice of where to go. Even took us to the 911 memorial outside Kinsale that was a very unexpected delight. We even had one person find family on the Arin Islands thanks to Danny as he knew them and got her in touch with them. |
| What was your favorite part of the trip? | Ashford Castle.. We golfed, rode horses, rode bikes, and were treated like kings and queens for 24 hours. What an experience that will not be forgotten. |

| How can we improve for next time? | I started planning this trip in April of 2020 when things were shut down and all you could do was write out your bucket lists. Ireland was the top of mine. After a quick search on the internet and looking at reviews and an email response got me in touch with Ann. Ann did such a great job from the start of our conversing, to the very end. She was defiantly top notch in her field. After 2.5 years of planning this, there was so many conversations that were passed between us to make this trip such a life time experience that we will never forget. And it would not have happened without her help and knowledge of such a great little country. So no I don’t think I would have to say it needed to be improved.. 🙂 |
